The Events Committee is throwing a Mardi Gras Party and everyone is invited!! Come and celebrate being a Republican in Macomb County! The Mixer will be held at Fern Hill Country Club at 17600 Clinton River Rd in Clinton Twp from 6:30 to 8:30 pm on February 12, 2013. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. But, we also understand that “in advance” might be a little difficult at this late stage of the game, so if you want to go and still get the advance price, just e-mail the Events Committee at events@macombgop.com and give your name and number of people you bringing with you and we’ll put your name on the advance list and you’ll pay just $10 at the door! The deadline for advance tickets is 11:59pm Monday night February 11, 2013. Any other questions, e-mail events@macombgop.com.

I was glad to see so many of my Republican friends at the Mardi Gras. It was an honor for me to sponsor the event. I’m hosting a Fish Fry Meet and Greet this Friday at the Saint Casimir Catholic Church in Lansing from 5-7 p.m., just before the district caucuses take place.
